Automated confirmations emails

You can edit the automated response emails your customers receive such as order confirmation emails and ‘You have joined our mailing list’.

When an order is placed you can send an order confirmation email to your customer.

    1. Place your mouse over ‘Settings’ on the admin bar and choose ‘Order confirmation email’. This will open the ‘Editing email template: Order confirmation’ page.
    2. Click on the subject box and replace the words [SHOP_NAME] with your actual shop name within the brackets.
    3. You can leave the current message in the ‘Body text’ box if you wish. If you would prefer to add your own message you can. Click on the ‘Body text’ box and highlight the existing text and enter your new message.
    4. To save any changes click on the ‘Update’ button.

How do I edit the ‘order confirmation’ email?

How do I edit the ‘Contact Us (message sent successfully) email?

1. From the Home page place your mouse over ‘Edit’ on the admin bar at the top the page. Select ‘Manage Pages’. This will open a ‘Reorder navigation bar’ page.
2. Scroll down to the ‘Other site pages’ section where automated emails are located.
3. Click on edit to the right of the automated email you would like to edit, in this case Contact Us (message send successfully). This will open the ‘editing page’ page. Scroll down to ‘Page Content’.  Click on the text box then click and drag your mouse over the existing message to highlight the copy you would like to edit. Enter the new copy.
4. Click on the ‘Save page’ button  to save the change or click on go back without saving if you are unsure or do not want to save the change.

How do I edit the ‘You have joined our mailing list’ email?
