Stock Inventory

The system allows you to add stock inventory for each product within your catalogue, that is, enter the quantity of stock for that product.

To add inventory to a product follow the instructions below.

    1. To add an inventory to a product, place your mouse over ‘My Shop’ in the admin bar and click on ‘Low Inventory’. This will open the ‘Inventory low warnings’ page.
    2. You will see a list of all the products within the catalogue that are under the preset low inventory warning of 3. Other information includes the category or subcategory that the product is located in and the inventory for each product.
    3. Click ‘Edit’ to the right of the product that would like to add inventory to. This will open the ‘Editing product’ page for that specific product.
    4. Scroll down until you come to ‘Add stock inventory’ within the product’s Sku.
    5. Click on the ‘Update’ button at the base of the page to save changes or click on ‘Go back’ if you do not want to save the changes.


NOTE: Please note that products that have more than one Sku will be listed as the product’s name plus the Sku name. For example ‘Round Pendant Red Stone’.

How do I add inventory to a product?

How do I reduce the inventory of a product when a sale has not been made online?

If you sell a product offline and therefore have one less of that product to sell online you may want to reduce the product’s inventory. This has to be done manually. To do this follow the instructions below.

    1. Go through the catalogue to the product that you would like to edit, in this case by reducing the inventory. Do not open up the product by clicking on it’s photo.
    2. Click on [edit] beside the product’s name and price. This will open up the ‘Editing product’ page.
    3. Scroll down to the Skus and click on the box to the right of ‘Add stock inventory’. If you have sold 1 product offline, for example and wish to reduce the current inventory by 1 then enter -1, that is the minus sign on your keyboard and the number 1. If had sold 3 of this product offline you would enter – 3 into the box and so on.
    4. To save the changes click on the ‘Update’ button at the base of the page.

How do I change the preset inventory warning level?

If you wish to change the preset inventory level please follow the instruction below.

    1. Place your mouse over ‘My Shop’ in the admin bar and click on ‘Low Inventory’. This will open the ‘Inventory low warnings’ page.
    2. Click on ‘configuration’ at the top right hand side of the page. This will open the ‘Shop Settings’ page.
    3. Scroll down to ‘Inventory warning level’ and click on the ‘Edit’ to the right of that. This will open the ‘Editing config’ page.
    4. Click on the ‘Value’ box and highlight the current quantity and change the number to the desired quantity.  Click the ‘Update’ button to save the changes or click ‘cancel or go back’ if you do not want to save the changes.
